Animation artwork from Disney’s Gargoyles!

One of the best American made animated TV shows in my opinion. The animation quality was top notch for a majority of the show, the character designs awesome & the story contiguous and compelling.

Hudson & Bronx

Yay, a cel of Hudson & Bronx! Hudson & Bronx are sprinting for a closing door. They have just broken into to steal something for Xanatos in Awakening: Part IV. The whole first season of Gargoyles had an amazing production & the first five episodes really reflect that quality. The animators really cared about this series & it really shows with these first few episode cels; there's a lot of detail in these. Unfortunately, the picture quality is a little crappy as I don't have a scanner. For some reason, the two cels were taped together with a type of white, super sticky tape that was a pain to remove. Plus, the auction picture showed that the tape had the Bronx layer way out of position for the scene. I was half afraid that the layers would be stuck, but thankfully not. The Bronx layer does not have any registration holes at the top & his image is positioned fairly centered in the acetate itself, which is a bit odd.
