Animation artwork from Disney’s Gargoyles!

One of the best American made animated TV shows in my opinion. The animation quality was top notch for a majority of the show, the character designs awesome & the story contiguous and compelling.

Goliath Pan Cel

Goliath takes a step back in shock as Eliza points a gun at him! Little does he know that Eliza has amnesia and has no memories of the gargoyles. This is from season 2, episode 39, titled 'Sentinel;' Goliath, Eliza, Angela & Bronx are still travelling around on the Avalon skiff during this part of the season.

  A full length cel of Goliath from Disney's Gargoyles! This is a lovely image of Goliath; a full body shot with his wings visible is always something I've toyed with trying to pick up & this one happened along at the right time. This is the last cel before the eyecatch & commercial break, making it a nicely framed pan cel with an interesting image.  

Gargoyles is probably my favorite American animated TV show. The first season's animation really blew me away & being that a majority of the cast was pulled directly from Star Trek: The Next Generation, I was hooked when this started airing.  

I'm pretty picky about cels from this series as later in the series, the animation budget dropped & it showed in the quality of artwork. The attention to detail & tight character modelling that made me excited about the show in the first place dissolved later & makes me hesitant about picking up scenes/cels from season 3.
