The Utena Movie! As a standalone movie, it really doesn’t make a lot of sense. It’s so laden with metaphors that it can be difficult to make sense of even for people who love the series. Regardless, the visuals in this movie are absolutely stunning & unforgettable imo. Such lovely character revamps and so many rose petals!

Utena in Mikage Seminar

Yes! A cel of Utena in her duelist outfit from the movie. Huge bonus with this cel for me is the rose (and the weird lighting)! Plus, movie Utena with her hair down is just sexy. 😉 I believe she is standing in the hallway before entering the movie version of the Mikage seminar.
