The Utena Movie! As a standalone movie, it really doesn’t make a lot of sense. It’s so laden with metaphors that it can be difficult to make sense of even for people who love the series. Regardless, the visuals in this movie are absolutely stunning & unforgettable imo. Such lovely character revamps and so many rose petals!

Anthy: "What shall we do tonight?"

Anthy asks Utena sweetly what they should do this evening, just after Utena uncomfortably explains to Touga "what kind of girl she is." Oh Utena, can't you see she is sooo screwing with you, hardcore?

Cleaning uniform Anthy! It's so odd how two different characters can wear the exact same outfit in different ways - Utena's is zipped up to the chin, while Anthy lets a little cleavage show. Saucy!
