The Utena Movie! As a standalone movie, it really doesn’t make a lot of sense. It’s so laden with metaphors that it can be difficult to make sense of even for people who love the series. Regardless, the visuals in this movie are absolutely stunning & unforgettable imo. Such lovely character revamps and so many rose petals!

Juri

Having bested her opponent, Juri drops into her chair next to the dueling area. She opens her shirt, revealing a golden locket as she directs the next set of fencers to begin.

It's Juri! Okay, so her eyes are closed, but I love her hair in the movie; you can really see it in this cel. She looks so serene... No sketch, unfortunately, but it's pretty rare to find a Utena movie cel that comes with the accompanying sketch (although I'm not sure why this is the case).
