Here are various group cels and characters other than Anthy and Utena in the series. I tried to place them in the order they occur in the series.

Touga Opening Reproduction

As a marketing tool during the BluRay release & touring artwork exhibition of Utena in early 2013, Starchild released some reproduction cels from seven cels in the opening sequence of Utena. As far as I know, none of the cels from the opening sequence left the studio, as I have never seen any of them for sale or in collections. Seven of the nicest original cels in the sequence were on display during the exhibition & these were chosen to reproduce for fans that bought the new limited edition BluRay release sets during one month timeframes for each boxed set.

This is one of the repo cels & one of Touga! I have always loved this shot of him from the OP. Given that I will probably never see any opening cels, this reproduction by the studio is just fine with me 🙂 These are the only reproduction cels from Utena that I am aware of ever being produced.

UPDATE: This is definitely a cel; it looks like a copy of the original was taken and printed in color onto a piece of acetate. The original cel number and lines from the original cel edges are printed on the acetate, so it's not a hand painted repo but the quality is nice.
