Touga:"Nanami, I've come to get you."

Nanami: "Leave. I can't go home with you."

I love this scene; Nanami basically tells Touga that she can't to go home with him, alluding to the growth she has had as a character. She has taken another step into the world of adulthood and is telling Touga that their relationship can never be the same.

Over the years, I have really grown to like Nanami. She is really the only character, despite some of the childish things she does, that really seems to come to understand herself, which is exactly against what the End of the World is attempting to prevent for the duelists.

Perhaps earlier than most of the duelists, Nanami is mostly willing to accept herself as she is, even if it's difficult, rather than constantly chasing the illusions laid out before her.

This is a great scene with Nanami and she is in the duelist uniform, a definite plus for me 🙂 There is no life fading on this cel, and it's a great shape.
