Kozue: "Let's begin..."

Miki submits to Kozue's touch in the dueling arena as Kozue looks down hungrily, anticipating drawing Miki's heart sword from his breast...

Love this image of the twins! Kozue could very well be reaching down...someplace else given the expression on Miki's face, which is the implication here. As a series, Utena is so good at this - little gestures that make your brain go 'waaait a minute..."

But the twins! I feel so lucky to get any image of them together, much less THIS image from the dueling arena & at the height of their respective powers in the dueling game. Lovely!

Unfortunately, no scanner at the moment, so this is a doctored photo for the time being. This cel & the sketches that came with really make me want to sort that out soon.
