Sword Pull (2nd) Bank
A Utena bank cel with all the layers & sketches! This iconic image during the sword pull brings me so much joy & I love the fact that the bursting light effect airbrushed layers have been kept with this one. Wonderful find!
I'm not sure whether or not the background is matching - probably not - but it came with the cel and seems appropriate. The weird plastic look that is on this and a few other scans is from the scanner, unfortunately. And all the layers need a good cleaning, so maybe that is something I will have done in the future.
This bank sword-pull cel was featured starting in episode 25 and ran through episode 36.
