I never thought that I would be much of a sketch collector. After all, Utena actually has cels! However, the more that I have collected, the more I am able to see the whole animation process & the work that went into making cels & the anime. It’s pretty fascinating!

These are various sketches from the TV show for which I do not have corresponding cels. I tried to place these in the order that they appear in the series.

Episode 3: On the Night of the Ball

A Juri douga set - probably the closest I'll come to actually having a Juri TV cel, unfortunately. Apparently this was auctioned off through Mandarake in July 2005 and ended up on Anime Link, from which I purchased the set.
