I never thought that I would be much of a sketch collector. After all, Utena actually has cels! However, the more that I have collected, the more I am able to see the whole animation process & the work that went into making cels & the anime. It’s pretty fascinating!

These are various sketches from the TV show for which I do not have corresponding cels. I tried to place these in the order that they appear in the series.

Juri & Miki Sketch Set- Ep26

It's Miki and Juri! Miki is railing to the Student Council against the End of the World telling them when to duel. Juri sits nearby with a knowing smile. The dynamic between these two is pretty cute; I wish I had a cel of them together, but this will do nicely for now. 🙂
