This is the collection of Bank cels (used for repeated sequences throughout the series) & various group cels / characters other than Anthy and Utena in the series.

I tried to place them in the order they occur in the series.

Dios - Ep34

Utena: "Are you the Angel of Death?"

Dios: "No. I do not serve Death."

WOW. I never thought I would see a TV Dios cel ever again. Even with brief shots of the silhouette of the prince peppered throughout the series, he isn't in very many episodes.

Episode 34, he appears before Utena, as a young man/adult. This is the one of two episodes where he is depicted with eyes.

Also with this one - original background (!!) and an airbrush layer for the light shining down from the window. Looking back at the screencaps, it looks like the airbrushed layer doesn't appear in the scene. Maybe they decided against it during filming? Super interesting!

Absolutely LOVE this setup. It is SO BEAUTIFUL. This is just such a critical episode of the series & I am always excited & humbled to be able to get original material from it.
